I use this product during the spring & summer months. The texture and scent of the product is elegant. While I didn't see much improvement in improving hyperpigmentation, it does appear to prevent it from getting worse & prevent new ones from forming.

Lytera is probably a good product. The issue I am having is that this is the first SkinMedica product that I have ever purchased that has a weird scent to it and it is making my asthma flair up. So, I'll have to give it a little longer to see if I can tolerate it. Sorry! Every other SkinMedica product I have is great - unfortunately this one does not get high stars!

Packaging is awkward
Its too early for me to tell if the product is working, but I am not keen on the package shape. It is too tall and skinny, so I am always knocking it over. Suggestion - make it smaller and fatter so it is more stable.

Ive been using this product since it became available about 18 months ago. It does do a decent job of brightening overall complexion and evening overall skin tone. However I have not noticed any improvements in my brown spots, which is disappointing. Ill probably keep using for the brightening, but I guess Im going to have to get lasered to get rid of my brown spots.

Didnt live up to hype
I was really excited to try this after reading all the rave reviews, however after daily use (am and pm) I didnt see any noticeable results. I even added in the Tri-Retinol complex to my evening routine while using this, thinking that might help but still no change to my dark spots. On a positive note, this was very gentle on my sensitive skin and absorbed nicely.

Stick with Hydroquione
The only reason why I continue using this product is it smells amazing. However, it is very expensive and results just arent happening. I have been told that it takes about 3 months to get to the same efficacy as Hydroquione. Havent seen that and I am on my second bottle. I have now paired it up with Hydroquione and am finally seeing results on the sunspots on my chest. Good idea, great smell, but just not that active.

Ive been using this product for a month or a bit longer. Im not seeing much of a difference from how my skin looked before. I will continue to use it because I bought 2 bottles of the product! At the spa I go to one of the clinicians said that a rep for the company said it takes a good 12 weeks, but it does work.
