My dermatologist recommended this product to me to help lighten some brown spots on my face. I apply it twice daily, and Im already seeing results. The effects havent been quite as dramatic as with 4% hydroquinone, but there isnt the associated risk of ochronosis. The instructions caution about a potential sense of warmth, but I havent experienced that at all.

Good Product, some minor drawbacks
It does work, just takes some patience - I used the Obagi bleaches for the prescribed 3 months, and they work very quickly and dramatically. Lytera is much safer, can use it long-term, but it takes 5 to 6 months to see the same results. And, it is a bit sticky on the skin. But I do recommend it, it really does work.

Consistency is key with this product. It is good for brightening the skin, has marginal effect on hyper-pigmentation/freckles.
