Better than the extra strength viviscal!
I've used both extra strength viviscal and the professional viviscal. I have to say that the professional does work better than the extra strength. The extra strength you can primarily just get in drug stores. But the professional you can only get from an authorized retailer, such as your dermatologist or LovelySkin. While using the professional, I hardly had any hair loss in the shower. I ran out, and I went back to using the extra strength that I found in the drugstore for a couple months & I've noticed a lot more shedding. I'll never make that mistake again! Worthy long term investment
It's definitely a long-term investment, just like any of the facial products you apply on daily basis, but for viviscal, it's not topical, it's a supplement. Initially, I stopped for 2 whole months after consuming viviscal for 6 months straight because I do see improvement of my falling hair conditions, but I was wrong. After stopping for 2 months, my hair went back to the original "falling" state. This left me no choice but to continue consuming viviscal as it proved to be effective after 4-6 months continuous consumption.

Viviscal Professional Supplements had great reviews and came highly recommended. I use the shampoo, conditioner and elixir and wanted to round out my routine with the supplements. Unfortunately, I had an allergic reaction to something in them that caused extreme scalp itching during 4 days of use which did not subside. I had to return them which was a disappointment. I am 26 years old and suffered from significant hair loss due to hormonal changes in taking different birth control pills. I've been using this product since July 2017. I started using it because my hair was destroyed at a hair salon. I lost my hair over the entire crown of my head. My dermatologist said I had thermal burns to my scalp. I wore a wig for over a year while having it treated by another hair care professional who was successful in getting my hair to grow back, but unfortunately, she was not able to bring back all of my hair. The top and sides of my head were very, very thin. So much so, I can't wear certain styles because the hair is so thin that it's not able to cover my scalp. It reminds me of a bald man with a with a comb over (not pretty). The good news is, the rest of my hair has thickened and grown using this product, and there has been no further breakage on the top and sides. The bad news is, my hair in the damaged areas hasn't thickened to hide the baldness as of yet. These work! They were recommended by my dermatologist after I had an appointment about my excessive hair loss. I took them for a couple weeks and the piles of hair on the floor started to go away. I can't say for sure if I am regrowing hair, but I can say that the hair loss has dramatically decreased. Please note: Make sure you get the professional strength. I did not try the standard strength to know if they work. Also it does take at least a month of twice a day pills to start to see the effect, so don't get discouraged if you don't see a difference immediately. Slows down hair loss
