Aging, sun exposure and certain medications can lead to thinner skin that is more prone to bruising. DerMend Moisturizing Bruise Formula Cream helps improve the appearance of marks with a blend of therapeutic ingredients. Phytonadione, a form of vitamin K, works to improve the appearance of skin discoloration. Retinol and alpha hydroxy acids help to smooth and rejuvenate skin, while arnica oil and ceramides soothe and restore suppleness. Niacinamide, a form of vitamin B3, provides lasting antioxidant protection against future marks.

It makes bruses go away a little bit faster

My experience with this product with mixed. The 3rd ingredient is glycolic acid. It removes old skin cells to allow for new cells to grow faster. As I've gotten older, my skin is thinner and blood will pool under the skin easily. It's a hereditary thing. I was looking to find a magical potion to not only fade the bruises fast but to strengthen my skin to prevent bruising. This product did seem to fade the bruises a couple of days faster than using nothing or just lotion. However, it didn't strengthen my skin at all. I continued to have bruises. So, I don't think it was worth the extra cost.

It’s advertised as being good for bruises which was a definite draw for me but I haven’t noticed that my bruises go away any quicker.
