Reviews For EltaMD UV AOX Elements Tinted Broad Spectrum SPF 50 - Upgraded Formula
Inferior re-do of a favorite product!
The UV AOX is a new version of the "Elta MD UV Elements Broad Spectrum 44." It is thicker and doesn't blend in as smoothly as its predecessor. It is also contains less product (1.7 oz instead of 2 oz), yet is more expensive. Why did they do this?? Please bring back the original version!!!

Disappointing
I loved EltaMD UV Elements Broad Spectrum SPF 44 Tinted Moisturizer but unfortunately it was discontinued. Apparently this is it's replacement - and is a disappointment. It's a thicker formula and I find it harder to apply. It also has a darker, orangey tint, which doesn't match my skin tone.

Disappointed replacement to SPF 44 tinted moisture facial cream
i tried to reorder the 44 SPF facial tinted cream I had used before and found it was discontinued and replaced with the suggested product, but it does not compare. Tint is too light and it does not apply as smoothly as the former product. I am disappointed in this new one and will not reorder it again.

Not a good substitute for original product
The website suggested the eltaMD UV AOX Elements as a substitute for the discontinued eltaMD UV Elements Broad Spectrum SPF 44 Tinted Moisturizer. The new product does not apply as nicely and the tint is different, making me look jaundiced. I plan on returning this product and hope to find a better replacement for the Broad Spectrum SPF 44 Tinted Moisturizer.

Good product but tint wasn't right for me
The product itself is good. No icky sticky feeling and the creamy texture makes it easy to apply and achieve good coverage but the tint wasn't right for me. It's too orange and not natural looking. I'm using EltaMD sheer SPF50 instead which doesn't have a tint.

Nothing like the OG Elements
I know that this has been reformulated but I didn't expect it to be so vastly different from the original Elements SPF. This one is much thicker, harder to blend, and doesn't feel as moisturizing. Super disappointed and now on the hunt for a new favorite SPF.

Orange!
I wrote a review before on this product and it was denied. Apparently using the sample LS sends to generate interest in their products are not to be used as a trial. I actually purchased the tinted sunscreen but decided to use the sample before I opened the new product. It went on so smoothly. No pilling etc. I was thrilled until I looked in the mirror later that day. The sunscreen had turned orange. I could see the lines where I applied it. I sent a new usable product back for a refund. My first review was denied because I first used the sample. Does this make sense?

Elta MD AOX tinted Sunscreen
It’s not as good as the Elta Md Elements tinted sunscreen. It doesn’t slide smoothly on the skin and my skin felt dry Please don’t discontinue the Elta MD Elements tinted sunscreen because it is the best sunscreen among the rest.

Just OK, not overwhelmed
I use only Elta MD products. I am super sensitive to most all products except these—which were originally recommended by my Dermatologist. I was excited to try this new product. I found it to be quite heavy in texture—almost like applying paste to my skin—and the tint left my skin a bit orange/yellow. I will use the product up, but won’t purchase again. I will resume using my SPF50 which I love—and when I want a hint of color I’ll apply the SPF tinted 46 over that. Much more moist on my skin. This product isn’t bad, it obviously gives the sun protection you want, but the texture is just off.
