The Elta MD SPF 46 was my go to Sunscreen when I was allowed to use sunscreen after my laser skin resurfacing. I researched and it had the purest ingredients and helped to protect my skin. It was gentle and goes on super smooth, but did shine a little. I use Jane Iredale light powder to cover the sheen. I would give it a 5, but it did not protect my skin enough and after a driving my face still turned reddish. I will order it again to use on some days because it is super gentle.

I received a sample of this product from the LovelySkin team and took a quick liking to it. It's an affordable wash and is lighting foaming which leaves a fresh, clean feeling. I like to use it in the morning and also right before hot yoga classes to clean off any residue before a sweaty, humid session. I pair it with EltaMD's exfoliating toner in the morning and at night then move to the other parts of my routine. It's a clean brand with a variety of products that also includes great sunscreens. I have really enjoyed the product and it's my new craze as a face wash.

Over the past several years, my entire family has used EltaMD products. Originally recommended by my dermatologist, Elta MD has proven to be our go-to sunscreen company. While they offer a variety of sunscreens, this one is one of my favorites. I use this product on a daily basis as it does not have a "sunscreen" smell and is quickly absorbed into the skin. It does not rub off on clothing. Even my husband does not mind applying this product as it is particularly effective for behind his neck, face and ears while he enjoys the outdoors. Living in a sunny state, this product is a must have for our daily skin care protocol Thank you Elta MD for continuing to make great products at a decent price point.
